0400L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/13/21
1-Cool and mild with northeasterly winds will be the case for today and tomorrow. A very slight chance for any precipitation (rain) so enjoy the sun as it peaks out once in a while. We all know what happens after the cool weather goes away, it will get hot and muggy. Oh well, it’s better than 10 degrees with a wind chill of minus 5.
2- This cooler weather and additional moisture in the air helps keep the fire danger a bay for a while. As always, stay vigilant and call 911 if you see any smoke or fire.
3- We are still experiencing a few earthquakes between Lahoma and Ames. If anyone suffers any damage, contact your insurance carrier and then your emergency manager. If you don’t have earthquake insurance, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to at least look into it.
4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/ NORMAN;
Tuesday-Partly cloudy. Highs in the mid-60s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph gusting to 20mph.
Tuesday Night-Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain showers. Lows in the lower 40s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph in the evening becoming light and variable. Chance of showers 20 percent.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
