*Cloudy & windy during the day with a chance for thunderstorms overnight tonight. The Fire Danger will be elevated so controlled burning is NOT advised. Controlled burns from yesterday should be checked to make sure they are out as the winds could cause flare ups.  

* Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy. Highs around 70. East winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming south 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon.

Tonight- Cloudy. A chance of showers with a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Not as cool with lows in the upper 50s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

* STORM SEASON is on its way. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE Spotter training will take place on March 15th at 6:30PM. The address is 216 West Oxford at our ANNEX facility here in Enid. We will hold this in the Sheriff’s training room on the west side of the building. This is OPEN to the Public.
