0320L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 1/14/25
*Sunny skies are expected today along with a weak cold front. We’ll see a wind shift and temperatures drop a little. Nothing drastic with this one. Wednesday thru most of the day on Friday looks pretty good. Late on Friday and strong cold front will push in bringing strong north winds and by Sunday, all temps will be below freezing. There is a very slight chance for light snow but it’s too early to know for sure right now. As stated yesterday, it’s winter so we’ll just have to deal with it.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 40s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming north this afternoon.
Tonight- Partly cloudy. Cold with lows around 19. North winds 5 to 10 mph.
