*COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 0900L THIS MORNING. WIND CHILL TEMPS COULD DROP TO -10 BELOW EARLY THIS MORNING. At 0230L it’s 2 degrees with calm winds. We’ll see what happens as we move towards sunrise. It normally gets cooler.
*An EXTREME COLD WARNING is in effect for the northern tier counties of NW and North Central Oklahoma until 0900L. Wind chill temps could drop to -22 degrees.
Either way, it’s just very cold outside and it’s important to dress appropriately or you could suffer greatly. Have your hands ever gotten so cold that running warm water over them seemed to be very cold? It hurts and at these temps, hypothermia and skin damage can occur in a very short time. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHILE OUTDOORS THIS MORNING.

Today-Sunny, cold with highs in the lower 30s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, increasing to 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon. Wind chill values as low as 10 below this morning.
Tonight-Mostly clear. Not as cold with lows around 20. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
