0240L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 1/22/25
*Warm temps into the low 40s are possible later this afternoon. The only caveat to this is we have another cold front that will push in late morning but the colder air will lag behind it. North winds will be a bit gusty. It won’t be bitter cold but it will keep overnight lows in the 20s. Thursday’s high will be in the 30s. Don’t worry folks, we’ll warm back up soon. Just think, storm season will begin to intensify before you know it.
Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 40s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming northwest 15 to 20 mph this afternoon.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the lower 20s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
