1-An AREAL FLOOD ADVISORY is in effect until 0630 Local time for parts of Major, Alfalfa, and SW Garfield County. 2-4 inches of rainfall may have fallen in this area overnight. Any rainfall totals from that area would be appreciated. ALSO, if anyone plans on traveling south, pay close attention to signs concerning flooding. In some areas between El Reno and Yukon, there has been upwards of 5 inches of rainfall.

2- We received 3.2 inches of rain yesterday. We do expect more rainfall today. I would like your totals from yesterday if possible. Be sure to pour out yesterday’s water from your gauges so you can get an accurate total for today. THANK YOU.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok but we can expect rain to continue through the rest of the week. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-Showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 1pm. High near 82. East wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Tuesday Night-50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
