0323L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6-21/22

1- HOT & HUMID WEATHER CONTINUES. There is a chance for rain, which if it happens will just make the humidity worse. There is a cold front that will be working its way south through Kansas today and is expected to possibly reach us sometime later this afternoon or evening. IF THIS HAPPENS, there may be a thunderstorm or two in the area. We’ll wait and see if it pushes this far south.

2- Our next chance for rain will be later on Saturday into Sunday when another cold front pushes into the region. This one does bring much cooler air as forecast highs on Sunday and Monday will be in the low to mid 80s.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so continue to take those heat precautions and stay as cool as you can.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny. Highs in the upper 90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 70s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
