1- We are not in any risk category today for rain or thunderstorms but we’ll be back in at least the GENERAL category Wednesday & Thursday and most likely for the rest of the week. Being under NW FLOW gives us our rain chances. SUMMERTIME will return soon so remain prepared for that.

2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday- Mostly sunny with a high near 88. North northeast winds around 10 mph.

Tuesday Night-Partly cloudy with a low around 66. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph becoming southerly after midnight.

DIRECTORS COMMENT

The 4th of July is coming up and fireworks stands will be opening soon. REMEMBER that it is ILLEGAL to fire these within the city limits of Enid and it’s ILLEGAL to fire these off on any GARFIELD COUNTY ROAD or near any crops. This said, Rural Fire Departments will be out reminding folks of this and the Sheriff’s Office Deputies will be doing their patrols too. I will post the laws pertaining to this as we get closer to the 4th.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!

MIKE
