0350L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/23/21
1- We have received 1.5 inches of rain since the rain started yesterday morning. Not bad, but I feel it’s time for the rain to let up. We’ve had plenty for now. That said, we’ll have several chances for rain through Friday. We’ll see what happens so keep an umbrella with you.
2- I post graphics from the NWS each morning. Information in the graphics are self-explanatory. I receive many calls about what’s going to happen and they tell me they read my post and needed more info. I ask them if they read the graphics. Most answer NO. Take the time to read that graphic as there is important information in them. 9 times out of 10, the answer they require is in the graphic. Just sayin.
3- Download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app and you can find a copy of our PREPAREDNESS GUIDE here on our website- https://gcem.org/wpcontent/uploads/2019/05/FamilyPreparednessGuide2019.pdf
4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today-Mostly cloudy. A chance of rain showers early in the morning, then a slight chance of rain showers late in the morning. Highs around 60. West winds 15 to 20 mph gusting upwards of 30 mph. Chance of showers 30 percent.
Tonight-Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 30s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
Stay dry and have a good day!
