0358L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT- 3/31/2020

1-Do you ever feel depressed because it seems to be cloudy most of the time? If so, the sun should reappear sometime later this morning or into the afternoon. The next chance for rain appears to be Thursday and Friday. We’ll see how the weekend sizes up as we get closer. Here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Decreasing clouds with patchy fog and areas of drizzle early in the morning. Highs in the mid-60s. with light and variable winds becoming south up to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight-Clear with lows in the mid-40s. South winds around 10 mph.

DIRECTORS COMMENT:

Now that we have 2 cases, expect those numbers to go up from this point on. There is a STAY AT HOME ORDER by the Governor but it seems many aren’t abiding by it right now. Apparently a few of my posts are upsetting a few as I am getting some enlightening phone calls with language unbecoming. I think this is because most folks are demanding personal info on the positive cases. I will say this again, we only get numbers from the Health Department, no personal info. YOU DON’T HAVE THAT RIGHT TO KNOW UNLESS THE FAMILY ALLOWS IT.

Also, please don’t put hearsay out there. Use factual information and factual information isn’t what a friend told you or what you heard. Facts are from official sources. Rumors cause more anxiety and sometimes additional depression and both of those are pretty bad especially if you suffer from either. SPREAD FACTS, NOT FICTION and everyone’s emotions just might settle down a bit.
