0255L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 5/13/25

Warm temps will continue and now we’ll add gusty winds as we move forward this week. Wednesday could be our warmest so far this year so we’ll see how that plays out. If we do see temps into the 90’s use caution for those that work outdoors and stay hydrated. We are expecting a cold front later on Wednesday and it will cool temps back down about 10 degrees, per guidance. This weekend could possibly bring some showers and thunderstorm chances so be prepared for that. Some of those storms may be severe. We’ll see how that comes together. Just remember, no need to panic! We’ll deal with what mother nature throws at us.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the mid-80s. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.
