*MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER TODAY. IF storms occur, RISKS WOULD BE GOLFBALL SIZE HAIL, WINDS TO 60MPH, AND THE TORNADO THREAT IS “VERY” LOW. The higher chance for convection will be in southern Oklahoma and North Texas. If you plan on traveling south, just stay weather aware.

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then becoming partly sunny. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may be severe. Highs in the lower 80s. East winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
Tonight- Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming east around 5 mph after midnight. Chance of rain 50 percent.
