*GENERAL RISK for severe weather later tonight through Thursday morning.

*If we see any thunderstorms and they become severe, it would be due to winds and hail. For today, the tornado threat is very low. Tonight’s storms, if we see some, will be coming in from the west-northwest through southwestern Kansas. These storms will occur during the overnight hours. The main threats will be gusty winds, hail, and a lot of noise.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so just understand that we’ll be in this pattern through at least next Monday into Tuesday, maybe longer. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then mostly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the lower 80s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight- Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
