*Marginal risk for severe weather tonight. See graphic for storm probabilities. If storms occur here late tonight, hail and winds will be the main threats. If you plan on traveling west, north, or southwest, stay weather aware later today and tonight.
*A lot of variables out there but initial supercell development could produce very large hail and a tornado threat. Those storms should move northeast along the trough after development. We’ll watch and advise as needed.
*Overall, just stay weather aware as this mess moves towards us and through the area. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Tuesday- Slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10am. Partly sunny, with a high near 86. South wind 11 to 21 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
Tuesday Night- A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 10pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South southeast wind 8 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
