0320L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-9/6/22

1-MILD weather to continue through the next week or so. Temps will average in the low to mid 90s and low temps will average in the low to mid 60s. Np appreciable rainfall is expected.

2- As stated yesterday, use EXTREME CAUTION if doing a controlled burn and be sure to call it in to our 911 dispatch office. The number is 580-234-FIRE (3473).

3- Fall and winter will be here before you know it and there will be cold drafts where they were last year. It’s time to get out there and fix those areas now while you can before we get down to freezing temps. It doesn’t take much to seal them off and it just might save you money on rising gas and electric bills.
