FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT

We didn’t get the worst of the weather yesterday and that was ok with me. We received another ½ inch of rain from Sunday night through last night. The one thing we will deal with today is the WIND. I would advise all women to wear pants today. Winds are forecast out of the northwest sustained at 25 mph gusting to 35 or so. The winds will be strong all day and should start to taper off some later this evening according to NWS guidance.
That said our next chance for rain looks to be on Sunday. We’ll see what happens. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Showers likely with areas of drizzle before 7am. Cloudy through mid morning, then gradual clearing, with a high near 62. Windy, with a north northwest wind 22 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Wednesday Night-Clear, with a low around 36. Northwest wind 6 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
