FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-WEDNESDAY 8/9/17

First of all, thanks for the storm siren reports. Didn’t get very many on Facebook but got quite a few through our website and received a boatload of emails.

Be sure to download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. If you don’t have our app, you’re not prepared!

That said; get ready for “HOPEFULLY” some rainfall over the next 4-5 days. We are getting into what may be a very wet pattern for this time of the year. Just continue to enjoy these cooler temps while you can.

Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 84. East southeast wind 5 to 9 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night-50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. Southeast wind 6 to 10 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
MIKE
