0325L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/09/23

* A COLD FRONT will be pushing into the area today and there is a chance we may see some thunderstorm activity as it moves through this afternoon. There are several variables on this and not enough room to type all of it so just keep in mind that storms MIGHT occur. That said, for this morning, a slight chance for some showers. We are in a GENERAL RISK are for rain but those chances are low right now.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so enjoy some humidity today along with some sunshine. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming northwest this afternoon.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Humid with lows in the mid-60s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, becoming northeast around 5 mph after midnight.
