0325L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-2/26/2020

1- Cool today as we see gradual clearing and cold tonight then a substantial warmup through at least Sunday. Those of you that like warmer weather will see it over the next 4-5 days then rain reappears. Now is that time to prepare for storm season. It going to be warming up so you will be able to get outside, look around, and see what needs to be done around the house and get those tasks accomplished.

2- Make sure you get our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. I can’t stress this enough. NWS warnings and advisories automatically push through along with local info from me and possibly from Law enforcement. You just aren’t prepared without it. PREPAREDNESS=RESILIENCE

3- Overall, we’ll be ok and I’m sure this warmup will be welcome to many, even me! Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Mostly cloudy through mid-morning then gradual clearing with a high near 41. North northwest wind 10 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Wednesday Night-Mostly clear with a low around 24. Light and variable wind becoming south southwest 5 to 10 mph in the evening.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
