0350L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-2/25/2020

1- It appears we may see snow later this evening as another storm system pushes through the area. No major impacts are expected but it appears we’ll get teased once again. Until tonight when temps drop, we have a chance for rain off and on today so the dreary weather continues. We’ll see what happens.

2- I have had several folks ask about lightning and how to protect themselves. Here is a link that should answer many questions concerning this. https://www.weather.gov/safety/lightning-struck  Over the course of this spring, I will add several more links that you can use to gain important knowledge concerning severe weather. You can learn a lot by taking the time to read and understand these dangers.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Tuesday-A chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 40s. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph gusting to 30 mph. Chance of showers 40 percent.

Tuesday Night-Mostly cloudy with a chance of snow. Colder with lows in the mid-20s. North winds 15 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40 percent.
