0350L-WEDNESDAY UPDATE FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/7/18
1-The seesaw of temps will continue for the foreseeable future. It is still winter so we’ll just have to grin and move on. There is a slight chance we might see some snow on Saturday but until we get an influx of moisture into the area, any precip will be light.
2-If anyone likes the sound of rain, even though we need it here in the region desperately, there’s an app for that. They say that listening to sounds of rainfall calms and relaxes you. Send that link to the TV folks and maybe they’ll calm down a notch!! Go to your app stores and type in RAIN SOUNDS, download and enjoy. While you’re there, be sure and download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You will need it this Spring.
3-Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Wednesday-Sunny, with a high near 41. North wind 5 to 11 mph becoming east in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night-Clear, with a low around 24. South wind 6 to 10 mph.
4-Finally, keep a jacket/coat in the car or truck and drive carefully. DON’T TEXT WHILE DRIVING AND SLOW DOWN IN THE SCHOOL ZONES!!
HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
MIKE
