0420L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-1/16/19

1) Temperatures look pretty good for the rest of the week then they almost disappear at the bottom of the thermometer. COATS, GLOVES, INSULATED UNDERWEAR, WILL BE REQUIRED THIS WEEKEND.

2) Imagine you have a wreck out in the middle of nowhere this weekend. You are hurt but can still move. No houses in sight. HOW WILL YOU STAY WARM with temps in the teens and wind chill temps near zero? Before traveling, make sure you have some supplies in your vehicle to stay warm, hydrated, and fed, to some extent. The cold air along with wind chills will be dangerously low so again, use extreme caution when traveling.

3) Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Areas of fog before 9am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 50. Southeast wind 6 to 8 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Southeast wind 5 to 11 mph becoming northwest after midnight.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

MIKE
