0320L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/4/25

NOAA WX RADIO will be down for a few days due to software updates at the Norman WFO. See slide below.

GOOD MORNING. We have a lull in the activity today but storms may affect the area late tonight and overnight then we’ll be in a Slight Risk Area for Thursday and Friday with hail and winds being the main threats. It’s just the pattern we’re in so we’ll deal with it. I will have better details on this mess later today.

If possible, please send me any damage reports or flood issues that anyone has had over the last few days. Also, rainfall totals. Use the Garfield County EM app Damage Report icon or Ask the Director or email me mike@gcem.org or mhonigsberg@enid.org

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Wednesday- Partly sunny. Highs in the mid-70s. Northeast winds around 10 mph.

Wednesday Night- Partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
