0315L- WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/22/23

* Once again, Drought and Wind have caused a Near Critical Fire Danger for today. If you see smoke and fire, call 911 immediately so the proper response can be sent. We ask that NO CONTROLLED BURNING occur because of the fire danger. There is a chance that we might see some rainfall late Thursday but we can’t hold our breath on this quite yet. We’ll see what happens.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so enjoy the sunshine and dust for the next day or so. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday- Mostly sunny in the morning, then becoming mostly cloudy. Breezy with highs in the lower 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming southwest 15 to 25 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night- Mostly cloudy and breezy. Lows in the mid-50s. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.
