0400L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/30/22

1-WINDY and COOLER today with strong northwesterly winds. That said, we are in a WIND ADVISORY from 0600L until 1800L (6AM TO 6PM). Wind gusts up to 45 mph are possible as the cold front pushes southeast.

2- We didn’t receive very much rain here in the Enid area but points to our north did. I will hopefully have their rainfall amounts in a later post. Overall, we’ll be ok today so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Partly sunny. A slight chance of showers this morning. Windy and much cooler with highs in the mid-50s. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, diminishing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight.
