FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-WEDNESDAY, 5/3/17

We had a few rounds of severe storms during the overnight hours and winds were definitely a factor. There have been a few reports of damage mainly to outbuildings and some power lines down. Be sure to call in your power outages to OGE at 800-522-6870. As of 0300L OGE SYSTEM WATCH shows around 1700 folks without power. It may be more. Just call in your report as soon as you can.

For those with our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app, take pics and send them in through the DAMAGE REPORT icon on the top middle line of the app. If you have major damage from the hail received earlier or the wind, do the same and contact your insurance carrier. I will come by and assess damage as needed this morning.
