0325L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/23/22
1- GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our Preparedness App. It’s been around many years and some features within this app have saved lives. It’s time you had the same capability. Download it, learn it, and trust in it. You deserve to be prepared.
2- Mild weather during the day but with windy conditions. Moisture will be streaming in ahead of the front and the storm system out west looks to move through Texas. Still several variables are in play but we do stand a chance for some rainfall as the front pushes in and through the area tomorrow morning. We’ll see how this plays out. Either way, it appears we may end up with possibly a wet Thursday through Saturday scenario. The forecast will change several times over this time period so keep this in mind.
3- Overall, we’ll be ok so be prepared for showers and maybe a thunderstorm by Friday morning. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today-Patchy fog this morning. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 50s. South winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
Tonight- Cloudy. A chance of rain after midnight. Lows in the mid-40s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40 percent.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
