0305L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/24/22

1- DRIZZLE will be occurring this morning and possibly a shower or two as the cold front moves our way. It has slowed down a little so timing will be roughly between 6 to 9 am. At 0250 local time, the front is on the eastern fringe of Beaver County slowly moving our way. After frontal passage, winds will become northerly with gusts upwards of 20-25 mph along with a low possibility of rain. We’ll see what happens.

2- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy. A slight chance of rain and drizzle this morning. Patchy fog this morning. Highs in the mid-50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph, increasing to north 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. Cold with lows in the lower 30s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

3- Today, folks will be traveling and being with family while some won’t. Others will be on some sort of duty whether they are here or wherever. Have patience and tolerance on the road, enjoy being with family, and remember to pay close attention to what’s happening around you.
