0310L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6/04/23

PREPAREDNESS begins with you downloading our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. Don’t leave home without it.

* The chance for rain will continue for today but we may get lucky again and it stay mostly dry. Fog could be an issue this morning so if you encounter it and visibility lessens, slow down and drive with caution. IF STORMS OCCUR, severe is not expected but again, if they do, then winds and possibly hail would be the main threats. You can also expect the rainfall to be torrential, meaning very heavy. There could be minor flooding in low lying areas so just be careful out there.

* Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today: Patchy fog this morning. Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower 80s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then partly cloudy after midnight. Lows in the lower 60s. North winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
