0305L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 7/4/25

We will be in a GENERAL THUNDERSTORM RISK area through Sunday.

RAIN is in the forecast today and tonight. Similar to yesterday, we could be mostly cloudy through the mid to late afternoon hours then seeing a lull and clearing skies for tonight. After midnight, we’ll watch for storms that may roll in from the Colorado high plains and see how these affect the area on Saturday. Guidance isn’t set in stone so we’ll see where everything occurs and hope that break later today actually happens. If storms occur, severe weather isn’t anticipated but PWATS- precipitable water values will be high.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:
