0420L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 4/21/23

*RAIN is in the forecast for most of next week. Hopefully the storm systems come together and it actually occurs. We’ll see what happens.

*The FIRE DANGER IS ELEVATED today, even with cooler air in the area. We ask that NO CONTROLLED BURNING continue to be observed, since we are so dry. There is NO BURN BAN in place but winds may be a factor today. If you see any smoke or fire, call 911 immediately.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today-Partly sunny this morning, then clearing. Highs in the upper 60s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming mostly cloudy. Lows around 40. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
