WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1200L TODAY UNTIL 0100L SATURDAY MORNING

1- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly sunny and windy. Highs in the mid-80s. South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, increasing to 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph this afternoon.

Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Windy with lows in the mid-60s. South winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

2- Fire Danger will be elevated but humidity will be higher today even though the winds will be very gusty. The chances for fire are high but the chances for rain are low. As stated yesterday, our best chance for rain is Saturday. 3- Overall, winds will be very strong so be careful opening up doors and be prepared for dirt and such in the air today. Hopefully we see some rainfall overnight tonight.
