0340L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 4/25/25

We are in a General Thunderstorm risk today as a cold front will be pushing in sometime this morning. The front will bring additional storms but we aren’t expecting severe weather here. We’ll have to keep an eye out on this one. The higher severe weather risk should be in the Texas Panhandle and the southern two-thirds of Oklahoma. We’ll see what happens as the day wears on. Also, there will be chances for rain over the next 7 days.

Today- Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely, this morning, then partly sunny with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the mid-70s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening, then showers and thunderstorms likely after midnight. Lows in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
