0325L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 05/24/24

*ENJOY TODAY in Northern Oklahoma, as Saturday late afternoon into the evening hours may bring some rough weather. I am not going to get overly anxious as forecasts can change but be as prepared as possible for our turn for dangerous weather. See attached graphics and remember that they will change some over time.

*No need to panic but we’ll keep that eye to the sky tomorrow. Today should be a relatively nice day with lower humidity as a front will push through this morning. Moisture return will be abrupt tomorrow so again enjoy today.

*Overall for today, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph, becoming north 10 to 15 mph this afternoon.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the mid-50s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

*Finally, we have briefing today and tomorrow with the NWS in Norman on Saturday’s situation and will pass that info to you after the briefing.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
