0320L-FRIDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 9/13/24
*We’ll be warming up today and over the weekend with highs in the mid-90s or so. We’ll see 90 plus temps for the next 7 days with a slight chance for possibly some rain around mid-week. We’ll see how that pans out. Either way, use caution while working outdoors and stay hydrated. Keep your eyes peeled for smoke and fire. Call 911 if you see any.
*Yesterday, I explained in a short way, that you really need to be prepared for our fall storm season and that it’s my job to get info out there for you to read, study and utilize. I’m going to keep this link to our Preparedness Guide online so you have some guidance on what to do. https://gcem.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/05/FamilyPreparednessGuide2019.pdf We will be updating the guide soon. It only needs a few revisions.
*This Information can also be found on our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. NWS warnings and advisories “automatically” come through our app in detail when things go array. Get it as soon as you can. You’re not prepared without it.
