0355L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-3/4/19

WIND CHILL ADVISORY STILL IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM THIS MORNING.

1) AT 0335L its 8 degrees with a wind chill of minus 7 degrees. Just a little chilly out there this morning. I have a son in North Dakota and its minus 6 with a wind chill of minus 30. Just a little perspective for you this morning too. Either way, IT’S COLD OUT THERE!!

2- There is a low chance we may see some periods of light snow this morning as we did yesterday. Not expecting any additional accumulation of snow. That said, roads are about like they were yesterday so when getting out, TAKE YOUR TIME and you should be ok. We’ll most likely see the sun again today too.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Monday-Scattered flurries before noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 24. Wind chill values as low as -6. North wind 6 to 9 mph.

Monday Night-Partly cloudy, with a low around 12. West wind 3 to 6 mph.
