0315L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/4/23

NO storm siren test today.

*A NICE WEEK ON TAP AS WE’LL SEE TEMPS IN THE MID 50S TO POSSIBLY MID 60S BY Friday. There will be a front or two coming through the area but it shouldn’t affect temps very much. It will affect the winds. By Wednesday into Thursday we could see wind gusts upwards of 35-40 mph but overall, a nice warm week.

*Since precipitation will be virtually nil, the winds will dry up foliage out there so use caution if utilizing anything related to fire. Remember that the winds will be gusty all week. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. West winds around 5 mph, becoming southwest with gusts up to 20 mph this afternoon.

Tonight- Clear. Lows in the lower 30s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming northwest after midnight.
