0320L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/27/22
1- MILD weather for the next several days as we slowly warm back up through the week. Remember that it is summertime and a cool down like this is welcome. Unfortunately, it won’t last very long. Colder weather will hang around longer in 3 to 4 months. Hang in there!
2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today-Mostly sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight-Partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
3- With drought conditions in the severe category, we want to remind everyone that with the Fourth of July coming up, it is extremely important that you NOT fire any fireworks off of county roads and especially near any crops. If you know a farmer out there and have permission, not a problem. If you don’t and get caught, there may be ramifications. Deputies will be out and so will we. Use good common sense.
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
