0235L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 6/6/22
MARGINAL RISK for severe storms later this evening into the overnight hours once again. Seems this scenario will be the norm this week.
1- The storms that came through the area between 0145 and 0205 have produced just under an inch of rainfall in about 20 minutes. There may be some more rain this morning but we’ll be looking at tonight once again for storms coming off the high plains.
2- With the storms that came through overnight, please report any damages that you may have received to our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app under DAMAGE REPORTS. We are needing to know whether there was wind damage from Drummond across to Waukomis to Douglas.
3- The above said, here is your forecast for the rest of this morning and for the rest of Monday;
Monday-Partly sunny in the morning, then clearing. Highs in the mid-80s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
Monday Night-Mostly clear in the evening, then mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Humid with lows in the upper 60s. East winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
