0350L-MONDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-3/9/2020

1- A cold front will push in this afternoon bringing gusty north winds and much colder overnight temps. The light rain we are experiencing right now should be ending this morning at least for now.

2- Overall, we’ll be ok. This week we will see several troughs move through and there may be periods of rainfall with them. We’ll see what happens as they develop. Keep an umbrella and a coat handy as some minor extremes are possible. Remember that March into April is a transition time with our weather and you should be prepared for either winter or spring.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Cloudy with a chance of rain showers early in the morning then partly cloudy in the late morning and afternoon. Highs around 70 with southwest winds 15 to 20 mph shifting to the northwest in the afternoon. Chance of showers is 50 percent.

Tonight-Clear colder with lows in the upper 30s. North winds around 10 mph in the evening becoming light and variable.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
