0340L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/26/18

1- Yesterday, the wind was an issue. We had wind “gusts” from both Mesonet sites at 54 mph and 55mph at the AWOS site at Woodring airport.  These winds occurred in the late morning timeframe.

2-If anyone sustained major damage, let me know. Email me at mike@gcem.org or mhonigsberg@enid.org  Remember that I do not monitor social media all day long so email is the best way along with sending me a DAMAGE REPORT through our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. If you don’t have it, download it.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

 Monday- Sunny, with a high near 49. West northwest wind 5 to 9 mph.

Monday Night- Mostly clear, with a low around 25. Light and variable wind becoming east southeast around 5 mph after midnight.

Finally, for those that traveled north over the holidays, I hope you planned your trip according to the forecast and made it home safely. Road conditions from the Kansas DOT can be found here- http://www.kandrive.org/kandrive/Home

HAVE A GOOD DAY!

MIKE
