0545L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-11/28/22

SORRY, THIS IS LATE. There was a structure fire in the 600 block of South Boomer west of Enid in which Lahoma, Fire, Enid Fire, Drummond Fire, Hillsdale-Carrier Fire, and Waukomis Fire responded to. I can’t give OUT details right now. No firefighters were injured. This fire demonstrated the coordination to have tankers shuttling water back and forth. Everyone did a great job!!

1- A sunny but windy day is in store as yet another front will push into the area on Tuesday. This front will bring strong north winds and very low wind chill temps overnight Tuesday into Wednesday. Overall, just a typical day in northern Oklahoma in the wintertime.

2- As stated, wind will be the main issue early this week as a strong storm system moves over the region. The latter part of the week looks warmer with a very slight chance for rain possibly by the weekend.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Not as cool with lows in the upper 40s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
