0300L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 10/14/24
*Cooler temps are here. High temps all week look to be in the 70s and overnight lows will average in the 50s. We may see lows in the 30s late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as another front pushes colder air into the area. Other than this, we just need to pay attention to the Fire Danger. We are extremely dry as I have harped on lately so use caution while working with anything related to fire.
*Overall, we’ll be ok. Here’s your forecast thru Tuesday, from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the mid-70s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
Monday Night- Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 40s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.
Tuesday- Sunny, breezy with highs in the lower 70s. East winds 10 to 15 mph, increasing to northeast 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon.
Tuesday Night- Clear. Lows in the mid-30s. Northeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, diminishing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight.
