  Over the weekend, I noticed on social media and on television that there were many folks making statements that they didn’t know what to put in a personal safety kit or GO BAG as we call them. They didn’t know where to find that info, and they probably couldn’t afford it anyway. Hmmm, how long had the coverage of the hurricanes been going on? Do these folks have internet and do they know how to search for anything?
  A kit or Go Bag is what YOU FEEL “YOU” NEED to get by for several days if you suddenly have to leave. It’s prepacked by you and just sitting there. It doesn’t need to be purchased because everyone’s needs are different. There are hundreds of websites that give great ideas on what to put into one of these. Open your browser and type GO BAGS in the search area, hit enter and see what comes up. Amazing huh? The most important thing you need to remember is to pack any medicine you need before going out the door.
  Finally, our weather still looks good for the foreseeable future so get out there and enjoy. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Monday-Sunny, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind becoming east northeast 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
Monday Night-Clear, with a low around 59. East wind 3 to 6 mph.

Have a super day
Mike
