0350L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/10/19
1- GENERAL RISK for thunderstorms this morning. There are a few in Northwest Oklahoma but nothing severe. If they hold together they could move into the area in a couple of hours.
2- We will be hot today so pace yourselves outside and stay hydrated. Once you succumb to either heat exhaustion or a heat stroke, you WILL have issues for the rest of your life. We are all a little different but you will feel it in some way shape or form. Just be careful and drink plenty of water.
3- For those that hate the heat, cooler weather is coming. Just not too sure when. Hopefully in a few months.
4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Saturday-20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am. Patchy fog before 10am. Partly sunny with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 102. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Saturday Night-Mostly clear with a low around 77. South winds 5 to 10 mph.
STAY COOL and HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
MIKE
