0527L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-8/31/19

1- Thunderstorms are on the way from northwest Oklahoma. Some will be heavy and the severe threat is low. Wind and hail would be the 2 threats so we’ll watch and see what happens. We received 2 inches of rain Friday morning. Let me know your totals from yesterday if you would.

2-Rain chances should go away for the most part after Sunday morning. This mess is forecast to move out and then we’ll have a warm week to enjoy. Overall, we’ll be ok.

3- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-50% chance for thunderstorms. Cloudy with a high near 85. East wind around 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Saturday Night-20% chance for thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 68. East wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sorry this is late but I actually slept in until 0430 this morning. Felt good!!

Have a great day!!
