0340L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/20/2021

1- GARFIELD COUNTY EM is our emergency notification app. Now that things are settling down, there may not be as many notification coming through. For those that have recently downloaded our app should play with it and learn it. We will probably have a few more winter events then storm season will be upon us. Now is a good time to be thinking about preparing for the spring too. Just understand, if something occurs that we need to get info out to you we’ll send it out through this app.

2-Temps are slowly warming up and there may be a few slick spots out there so walk and drive carefully for the next few days or until everything finally melts. Just be careful.

3- If anyone observes water flowing from someone’s home or if you see it coming up out of the street, get it reported asap as every leak can affect our water pressure.
