0350L-SATURDAY UPDATE FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-2/3/18

1-PRECIPITATION: WHAT IS IT? Answer-SOMETHING LIQUID or FROZEN falling from the sky. We don’t want hail but it is made from water. Bad thing is it causes damage. Maybe we’ll see some sort of precipitation within the month. We’re starting to get a bit desperate.

2-You are aware we are in a GOVERNOR DECLARED BURN BAN until mid-February. It may be extended. You know the rules so keep a sharp eye out there and report fire or smoke to 911.

3- Sunday’s high will be in the 30’s along with fairly strong winds, meaning wind chill. Bundle up the kids and yourselves if going outside. Make sure your animals are taken care of too.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday- High near 57. South winds5 to 15 mph gusting to 21 mph.

Saturday Night- Low around 33. South winds 5 to 10 mph becoming north northwest after midnight.

HAVE A SUPER DAY!!
