0330L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-7/9/22

1-Cooler today but not quite sweater weather yet! Heat index temps may top out around 101. No advisories issued yet so we’ll see what happens along those lines. Another front next week will cool us down slightly once again then the heat comes back with a vengeance. It’s better with heat than bitter cold.

2-Overall, just continue staying hydrated and stay aware of your body condition while outside. If you start to feel weak, dizzy, nauseous, or notice that you’ve quit sweating, you could be in real trouble health-wise so pay attention to yourself and the kids. You may want to keep an eye on the older folks too.

3-Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny. Highs in the mid to upper 90s. Northeast winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight-Mostly clear. Lows in the upper 60s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming east around 5 mph after midnight.

STAY COOL and HAVE A GOOD DAY!
