0440L-SATURDAY OUTLOOK & INFO FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MGMT-6/13/2020

1- RED FLAG WARNING in effect for NW Oklahoma from noon today through 8pm tonight. Garfield County is not included at this time. I would go as far as stating, NO controlled burning today or tomorrow. All fire commands in the county will be advised of this around 7am.

2- Garfield County is suffering from MODERATE and SEVERE DROUGHT conditions. If fires get going, understand green grass will burn due to the dryer conditions. Very low humidity and strong winds will be factors for the next week or so.

3- WEATHER-WISE-HOT AND DRY so get outside and try not to eat very much dirt that will be blowing around. If you see smoke or fire, call 911.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday- Mostly sunny and hot with a high near 97. South winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday Night-Clear with a low around 69. South winds 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Sorry this is late, overslept due to a rough week.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!!
